History Alive's new show arrived July 2010,
debuting at the Smithsonian Institution's "Teaching American History":

"ROSIE THE RIVETER"
Learn the fascinating story of 'Rosie the Riveter' through Rose Leigh Monroe, who worked at the world's largest aircraft factory - Willow Run in Michigan. Discover which came first:

  • the Rosie posters,
  • the Rosie song,
  • or real women working in factories who helped America win WWII?

Who was the real Rosie? The answer is riveting!
